P3 vent gauge or Access Port mount?
Good afternoon all,
I've had to be confronted today with the reality that my car is getting up there in age, and as such I would like to have real gauges. With no warning other than the fact that it's about 100K miles old, my water pump died (I assume, since it overheated and there's plenty of coolant in it) I see two major options, without just plumbing in old school mechanical gauges and then finding somewhere to mount them. 1) a P3 vent gauge 2) a semi permanent mount for my Cobb Access Port. Difficulty: I am not running a tune and haven't in a while, because I need a new clutch as well. 3) something else? Opinions welcome. I'm leaning toward the P3 for better readability, but if anyone has used an AP mount and is happy with it, I already have the AP. |

Android Head Unit + Torque app + Bluetooth OBD-II unit.
Can display any information that is on the CANBUS in a fully configurable fashion. I modified my OBD-II unit to only draw power when the ignition is on -- so it is left connected permanently. |
