That's weird I was just there around 1:30today and I was told it was $77 and they were all out of Them and he gave me the dude business card who makes em. If you need his number just Pm me.

I believe meter maids in Seattle are empowered to write no plate tickets, so be careful if you park on the streets.

I bought this bracket that screws in on the underside of the front bumper. Haven't installed it yet though. I'll probably wait 'til I actually get a ticket.

Interesting. I was there at noon and it was the very last plate from display. Maybe that chick next to me bought it... Was it a solid plate or a drilled one?

I don't know how I feel about the tow hook license plate bracket. While it's great that you're not drilling holes into your bumper, to me it just looks like a piece of paper flew into your car. Idk. Maybe I have to see it in person?

I just don't understand our laws. I have classic car plates on my 1965 Cobra Replica and Washington state does not require me to have a front plate for that. I have had no plate on the front of my 335i for several years now. Have not been stopped with the G. No plate on my F150 Harley either. Never been bugged for 5 years with that. Guess I am lucky to live on the south end in Bonney Lake.
I have several friends in the SPD. They are all very good guys. None of them would bother to stop someone for a plate issue. I cannot believe any of them would be dishonest either.

I've got my Florida plate too, pays to have residence in Florida for this reason. Knock on wood, but if I have to ever change I think I would throw one of those "dashboard grabber" type deals on my dash with the license plate instead of on the outside.

Dang. Getting my new front end done by tomorrow. Went to BMW Seattle today and they sold out of those usmillwork tow hook plates. Called brad and he said he plans to drop some off in a week.

Any suggestions on a temporary solution other than placing it in my windshield? Don't want to get a ticket

i don't have a front tow hook hole in my bumper. I think i'll look into the double back tape.

I just put mine on the dash on the passenger side. Pushed it as far as it would go down without being rough with it. Haven't had any issues so far.

I haven't had front plate on my last three cars dating back to 2004 and have had no issue at all. After reading everyone messages on here, I'm getting worried. I really do not want to put a plate in the front. Take away from the look of the car. Hideous.

I heard you can still get a ticket for no front plate even if you have one on your dashboard....Anyone confirmed this with DMV????

It's illegal to have it on your dashboard. The plate must be on the front bumper/most forward part of the car. $124 if not....

I remembered someone on this board installed pop out front plate that can be activated with a remote. I'm sure it cost mucho $$$$.
