All in all despite the trouble I went through, I am still happy with them. The price is awesome for how it looks, and their awesome customer service which took care of all the troubles. It is nice to know that I can count on them for when I have problems with their product.
was there any difference between the two different bulbs in terms of brightness and color?

Man, bummer that they messed up a couple times but still, sounds like GREAT customer service for the money. You don't usually expect that out of the budget option.

Actually there was. The led marker with the round butt looking thing (first one I initially bought that did not fit) lit up the inner rings but not as well, flickered, and the outter rings was very dim during the day despite what angle you look at.

Hope that helps

The first link is too big for the housing through my experience. The second one fit perfectly. Which one do u have?

The difficulty is getting your hand in there to turn the bulb into place.

I had both and installed both. The first one has such a large heatsink that you have to unscrew it... problem is, you have to magically screw it back together once you get the actual LED into the bulb housing. Only way I was able to do it was with JB Weld. I contacted the seller and they sent me the second set of bulbs as a 'replacement'. They were so much easier to install. The overall difference in brightness was negligible.

Tip on installing the second ones... hook up the bulb to the power supply and work on installing the bulb while kind of hanging onto the power supply with your other hand. That way when and if the bulb falls down into the abyss, you can just pull it back out. I got them in without unscrewing the heatsink. Good luck.

Finally got mine in today and they look great but holy CRAP what a pain in the ass to install!!! Whoever decided the cooling fins should screw on to the base in the direction opposite of the way you have to turn the light to lock it in should be FIRED!!!

EVERY single time I got it lined up just right I'd start to turn it to get it locked in place and the fins would start coming unscrewed. Ridiculous. Even tried locktite and THAT didn't work either!

Finally managed to get it lined up just right, and then grabbed it from the inside of the fins with needle nose pliers and was able to lock it in place.

OH, and here's another little tip. I also discovered that the rubber grommet/gasket thing they have installed on the bulb is way too thick. I swapped it for the one on the OEM bulb and they went in MUCH easier.

my 32w bulbs came in and got them installed. tbh i cant tell the difference between them and the 20w in terms of output. this is what the actual 32w bulbs look like.

20w on the left. 32w on the right. i think the 20w might be a tiny bit brighter, but it's hard to tell. i'll keep it like this for a couple days and see if i notice anything different.

This helps to enforce my thread above, that there is no difference besides the name of these things. if you look at the electronics behind both of them i can guarantee they are the exact same. Case in point, they just sold you 2 sets of the same light... i tried to warn you

both were well under $100 so its not a huge hit to my wallet. it's definitely worth having a documented comparison. i'll try to get a daytime pic but it's hard to find an angle where sunlight is even on both headlights. sometimes i think the 20w is brighter but it might just be the angle of the sun. the 20w seem to be a good deal from bmwled. the 32w were from another vendor.
