Winkfp or doctor Gini is safer.

so it seems I want an icom next A, with the B adapter so I can plug into the most bus.

lately my sirius unit has been randomly saying that channels aren't available.
It's persisted across another unit, so I guess it's time to learn most bus things.

it is not.

it will say that a channel in my presets is not available, but I can push another and it will tune to that, then I can navigate via the category listing to the original channel I wanted and click it and it works.
