ICOM Next vs A2
say a guy wants to try his hand at some CCC Idrive updates and such.
Do I need the A2 variant or the Next will also work on the e90? Trying to get into that ISTA P life as opposed to winkfp, and also flashing my 6l45. from the usual overseas scumbags of course. edit:I already have a kdcan adapter and ista setup. car is a 09/07 built 08 e91. |

Winkfp or doctor Gini is safer.
As posted most of the time here. The guy at the above links has some interesting videos on programming. He also has a video on how to get the most out of ista p if you go that route. https://www.nathansbmwworkshop.com/b...or-dean-videos Read last link in this set Diagnostic Manuals Inpa/Ista D https://bimmerprofs.com/diagnostics-inpa-part-1/ https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...7x8H3pN8h1fMuF https://carmod.ru/files/icom/istad_en.pdf https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...-P-actually-do |

that's a useful link.
so it seems I want an icom next A, with the B adapter so I can plug into the most bus. lately my sirius unit has been randomly saying that channels aren't available. It's persisted across another unit, so I guess it's time to learn most bus things. |

it is not.
it will say that a channel in my presets is not available, but I can push another and it will tune to that, then I can navigate via the category listing to the original channel I wanted and click it and it works. |
