What's your winkfp config? Post a picture

Make sure latency is 1 and com port 1

Always update winkfp datens before flashing using bmw coding tool.

Try the above first to rule out any configuration issues.

Is your car pre 03/07? If so, that explains why you are getting the error. The hard drive in the tranny (TCU) is only 500gb & can't handle the download. You need to use xHp stage 1 to get a Alpina type flash.

I decided the vin from his winkfp screenshot and it's an 08 build date, I believe it's a configuration problem somewhere else. Could be transmission was replaced too with an earlier pre 03/07 transmission which I've seen before.

I would think INPA would give you the build date or set up/ configuration of the TCU.

I get this error when either the cable has fallen out so not connected to the car or I have the wrong datens loaded into WINfkp (datens from a different model for example)
