Install o2 first?

Sorry I haven't been able to search yet as I'm on my phone so pleas so forgive me

but this question has been bothering me all day

Is it better to install the o2 sim before or after the RR catless DPs?

I read before that it doesn't matter but Terry told me it's better to install the o2 sim after the DP instalation

but I remember Mike said (if I'm wrong forgive me) that it doesn't matter

if anyone can help clairy this for me I'll be very grateful

thank you

doesnt matter but if you install before then you wont get a CEL (which you wont have to subsequently clear).

I see

So then before is better because I (currently) don't own a BT Cable

Could I go to Pepboys or something and have it cleared if I do get one?

Thanks

yes, I think you should be able to clear it with a generic code reading device
