Can't locate the playable demo, loads of the other NFS titles, but not Hot Pursuit - I can never bloody find anything on the PSNetwork and give up after a while .

Watching everyone's comments carefully as still haven't made up my mind whether I'll get my £35 worth out of it...

Ha ha, nice one .

Think the NFS demo was only available until the 9th Nov apparently - doh. Still think it looks good fun - might scour ebay and pick up a used copy.

Was searching ebay earlier and picked up a brand new copy of NFS Hot Pursuit for £31. I thought I may as well see what it's like. Downloaded a few trailers last night (the demo seems to have gone) and it looks good fun - bit like Chase HQ all those years ago - if it's shite it'll just go back on ebay...

I just don't get the chance to sit down and work through a game for hour after hour so think GT5 will just frustrate me. At least NFS you can just pick up and leave whenever.

Exactly why it has arcade mode - drive any car, any track, any time.

I'm now at level 10 and have scraped enough cash together to get myself a Z4MC and fit most of the available mods. I would say fitting sports tyres made a huge difference to the gameplay, before the car understeered quite badly and was a bit of a disappointment, now it turns in nicely and will oversteer when pushed making the whole driving experience a lot more fun..

Only another 150k credits to go for an E60 M5 Beginning to really enjoy the game now

The high demand coupled with GT5's constant communication with the internet is causing all sorts of problems that spill over even into single-player races.

Sony's temporary solution? Disable your PS3 internet connection.

The video at the bottom of that link shows the issues re no damage and little effect on car collisions. Do I have to turn damage on or what????

Okay tried it last night using the normal controller and there is no way i'd play it with the controller so the steering wheel had better be good!

Also annoyingly you are not able to save progress across machines.
Considering there is a PSN account it makes no sense that progress isn't sync'd. I'd hate to get 90% through the game and have the VLOD happen!
