CEL THen half power?

I was driving home, pulled into my driveway, and I noticed the CEL would pop on when the car was put into hear (manual) but would pop off if I put it back in neutral. I continues to drive and the car was at half power, only getting 5-6 PSI. I was in map 5 of my JB4 the whole time. I turned Car off and back on and the issue was fixed. Has this happened for anyone before?

there should be a code when it goes on, at least in every instance i've seen when the CEL comes on there is an associated code.

There are codes, but JB4 cant read the shadow codes. You would need a BAV tool to read shadow codes.

Only thing to do is wait for the problem, if there is one, to throw a hard code that can be read. I believe the code needs to be present 3 times before it becomes available to read with JB4.

The JB4 reads shadow codes as well as active codes.

Does reading the codes with the jb4 on the speedometer differ from the codes using the laptop? Yes I have the cable Installed but when I checked codes using steering controls, I got nothing.

it shouldn't theoretically /... but I would hook your laptop up and open the program and then to to settings:: read dme codes

Its the same from the cluster as from the software but reading codes from the software is soooo much easier
