Cornering light lens swap

I'm planning my headlight mods, and I want to pull out all the stops, I don't want to open them again.

Anyhow I want to swap the cornering lenses out for a projector lens. I could have sworn that I saw someone do it previously but for the life of me can't find it. If someone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

If not does anybody know the diameter of that lens? It looks like it's the same as the projector... but not sure.

I had that done to my headlights.

What they actually did was I upgraded the projectors with the clear lens, and they used the taken out lens for the cornering lens. Then, I didn't have to buy another set of clear lens.

I was actually considering that, but didn't know what size was. Did they have to modify the stock lens to fit the cornering light?

Do you have pictures?

No, they didn't have to modify the lens. I don't have pictures at the moment.

If I had to do it again, I would not do clear lens for the cornering. Sure, it looks like you have quad projectors, but the cornering lights will not light up the corners with the clear lens. So, every time I turn, it lights up but the light doesn't assist.

Even with the stock fresnel lenses it doesn't disperse? I guess I don't understand how the plastic lens spreads the light that much.

You didn't modify/code anything?

The stock cornering lens is designed to deflect light to the side.

With the clear lens, the corning lights light up but light up the front and not the corner.

Nothing was modified to my understanding. The clear lens was just mounted. No coding was needed since it was just a lens swap.

I know it's a lot to ask, could you take a night pic in reverse (lights up both cornering lights), so I can see the pattern. I like them, but hate the lens, I want to see which is stronger

Hey buddy, do you know which lenses they put in your car? Brand/size?

Thanks! I imagine this is the same number for LCI? I want to get rid of the fresnel lens. I’ve searched around and can’t find too much info on getting rid of that thing. Before I crack open the headlights, does anyone have pics of their cornering lens swapped out? Thanks
