Squared set up questions

I posted something similar in the wheels and tires thread but I wanted your opinion since this is for a track car project.

So I have access to a whole E92 M3 and I'm going to transfer its suspension bit to my E92 335i. I also wanted to use my 18x10 et25 squared set up with nt01 in 275 35 18 but the fronts well, "Fuhgeddaboudit". Sticking an inch past the fender.

Anyone running this setup on an E92? What would be a similar alternative, performance wise?

Target date is Oct, trying to do Oktobefest with NASA at VIR. SO I need to get this fixed soon.

Thank you in advance for your input.

If you have access to a whole e92m3 maybe a fender swap would get those tires on.

I have 255 in front of my e92 with 8.5” ET33 it fits and I have heard a few guys have squeezed a 265 up there on 9” wheels, but I think you need mucho camber, a narrow 265, and a specific exact offset which I don’t know.

Keep seeing these 18x9 et 30 as the ticket to run 275 35 18 with no issues. Both fenders were destroyed otherwise I would have swapped them as well.

Garage List
2009 335xi  [4.35]

18x9" ET31 will fit 265 (I have at all 4). I get no rub at all, except when I have two adults on the heavy side in the back, then the rears rub.

I have -2.7d camber in front, -2 in back.

Front will rub 100% on the inside rails during full lock and where bumper and feder meet on slightly lowered car even with -2.0 negative camber.

What do you think about the bumpers being pulled out to meet M3 fenders and using steering locks to limit the lock to lock travel?

You can't pull the fenders that far out. When you pull they go out and up so they won't line up with the m3 bumper. You can use plastic washers on each side of the steering rack to limit the lock to lock travel.

These are the M3 fenders with the stock 335i bumper, granted, the fenders are veterans but for a track car...driver's side is mated to the bumper, passenger's side minutes before surgery...
