Has anyone had their window trim surrounds gloss wrapped or repainted due to corrosion?

I’ve got two areas where it’s visible under the trims and was quoted £150 to repaint both main trims, slightly worried incase they look odd to the rest of the trims, and/or if I have problems refitting then after. The other alternative is gloss
Wrapping which looks to be around the same price and is supposedly identical in visual appearance (although I would need to remove and smooth out the corrosion first)

Has anybody had either done?, or found anywhere that offer a good discount on new bmw trims?

Mine are painted gloss black as I had the standard SE silver trim surrounds. However there are areas that have chipped away etc so I'm looking at having them wrapped instead now.

I’d be interested to hear if anyone has had them wrapped and if they have been worth it ......

I suppose any wrapping company could do this?

I'm looking into wrapping my trim and I got a quote from an established place in Lincoln and they quoted 175 all in.
