Replaced Differential and Propshaft

Took the car in for the 2 year brake fluid change after 22,000 miles - no problem. "While it's in" I said, please look at the following:

1. Creaking Drivers Seat when pressing the clutch.
2. Ticking noise from Engine
3. Clunk from rear of car when pulling away.

Since the first trip the car has been back in for:

Trip 2
1. A new drivers sear base - problem cured.
2. Replaced the engine timing chain tensioner - ticking cured.

Trip 3
Replaced the Propshaft - clunk now traced to Diff.

Trip 4 - next week
Replace Diff.

It's not the faults so much (although this is worrying), but the dealer is taking too long to diagnose the faults. Plus, they give me this crappy 120d ES loaner. £20k and you get the worst rubber steering wheel since the 1970's.

I think you're lucky you're getting that much.
Most of the stuff I've seen here would dictate grease for the squeaks and "that ticking is normal".
It may take a while to get diagnosed but at least it's getting diagnosed properly
I'd give a to your service techs

I have the same clunk problem. I notice it mostly when I pull off in reverse, but also sometimes in foward. First trip they replaced the drive shaft, clunk went away for about a month then came back. Second trip they replaced the differential, same story, clunk goes away only to come back after few weeks. Have not taken it back again but will soon.
