One is usually enough. Two is more than enough. If you don't use 2nd bottle you can keep it for future top-up or next flush....

So that's the thing, I have one unopened bottle, and one that was opened but tightly capped after use, but this was literally 9 years ago. I don't feel like I should use that one anymore...

Two more for the chart:

Motul RBF 660 - DOT 4 - 617ºF (325ºC) / 400ºF (204ºC)

Prospeed RS683 - DOT 4 - 683°F (360°C) / 439°F (224°C)

Too bad Prospeed RS683 is $40 a bottle!

Thanks! Awesome chart.

MOTUL RBF 600 seems like the best bang for the buck, and has a great reputation.

After watching my stock cpo fluid boil over at the track in November I quickly learned about motul 600. Fresh Stock 335i brakes were excellent and still plenty of meat. Just did the fluid change last week. Took 2 bottles of motul 600 $20ea.
Great thread!

Question for you guys, how often should I be replacing my RBF600 brake fluid if the car is just street driven? I think I'm at the 16th month mark right now...

I have never heard of it before but I must admit those numbers are impressive. Is affordable too. The brakes will soon need refreshment so I will give it a try.
