The name of the product is Noico; it costs $65.00 for a box of 80mm thick insulation. 36 square feet. It's rated 5 stars on Amazon with almost 600 reviews.
Nice!! I've been contemplating doing this too. I find there's quite a bit of road noise transmitted into the cabin at highway speeds, especially as other vehicles pass by.
I could see that. I'm going to try and put some under the subs, that are under the seat, and see if that makes a difference in the quality of the mid-bass & perhaps less engine/ exhaust noise at hwy speeds

soon it will be "summer" here and I'll have to deal with this crap.
Last year I was thinking those yoga mats material is perfect for car cover.

I was thinking of making panels out of it and use velcro to secure them together.
Problem is I need to find a good cheap source of this material.

Thankfully my e93 is safe in my garage and no hail in my neck of the woods. I'm a little more north of Dallas at a friends house and they were nice enough to move their old beater Lexus out of the garage and let me park our 2017 Forester in their. Maybe go to Walmart and get the foam mattress toppers?

those topper mats are heavy. I was thinking those eva mats with 3-4mm thickness would still be light weight and dense enough to absorb the hail impact.

Just need to find a bulk supply of it. If I just use the mats at the sport section from Walmart/Canadiantire etc. I'll be looking at close to $300 CAD

Yeah that's alot of money to be spending on just some mats. Where do you live? Do yall get alot of hail? I've lived here in Dalla all 26 years of my life and I've never seen hail like I did today. Every car that was parked on the street was totaled...

I'm in Calgary, Alberta.
Few years ago we had such damaging hail storm that our roof had to be replaced; thankfully my car back then was garaged.
But now I have my E90 and the F48 outside

Who knows, maybe I make a product and become rich

Finally installed my rep M3 side skirts.....had them painted several months ago at the same time I had the front & rear bumpers painted.....car is dirty while the skirts are not, the paint match is spot on. Fitment looks great in pics but I'd say it's 90-95%. Took a lot of messing with it. Body mods are complete except for shadowline window trim and possibly a front lip and wheel spacers.

The side skirts made it really obvious I need to push the wheels out a bit. Anyone recommend spacer sizes ?

Nice. Looks like a brand new car!

Mind sharing the steps taken for the engine bay cleaning.

Did you just cover the alternator and use a pressure washer?

pull the covers to clean them.
the rest gets simple green and pressure washer.
don't be a moron with the pressure washer and you'll be fine.
don't spray electrical connectors directly, use a fan pattern, keep it moving.

I never use a pressure washer, and haven't needed one even when washing the engine bay of my Jeep 4.0 liter which is a greasy beast.

Cover up the alternator, don't spray anything electrical directly. I spray everything with simple green, let it sit, then hose it off with the garden sprayer. I usually leave the hood open to let things dry. Has been working fine for years now.

Wow, I thought I was brave doing work in my condo garage when I lived downtown.

Under a busy bridge? I'm surprised you didn't make a mess in your car transporting old fluid. Did anybody say anything?

I found the hardest part doing work in public is dealing with the odd stares. When I see someone now in a parking lot doing the same, I understand how they feel and give them a salute. Its nice to have a garage now.
