Some behavior of the PROcede is not common known and not documented. The unit has unique features and we have to learn how to handle them.
I think a correct installed and well operated PROcede is stable and there is no risk to blow the engine. Of course, some functions still have to be refined and some new ones implemented, as originally announced for V2. From the technical point of view the PROcede V2 is the most complex and sophisticated piggyback. Vishnu needs some more time to make everything rock solid and provide some extra functionality. As far as I can see a lot has been done in Dec/07. No reason for bashing at all. |

I think Vishnu is doing a good job with customer service. In the business world no matter how hard you try there is always going to be an unsatisfied person. If you gave everyone that complained $100 there would still be unsatisfied people, you can't ever win with that.
The procede is not hard to install if you read the instructions and double/triple check everything you do to ensure the installation is performed correctly. I went over every step 3 times to make sure the installation was done right and the end result was a mod that has given me 0 problems and has worked flawlessly. If anything we owe Shiv a big thank you for releasing something that puts a smile on so many of our faces. The mere $1300 this mod cost for the performance difference is not even something you should be thinking about complaining over. I mean think about it, an exhaust cost $1300 and realizes minimal gains for the same price. I think there are a lot of unappreciative people here that have taken for granted all of the posts, answers, information and work that his company has done since day 1 to ensure everyone here was best informed about the product in its early stages and how every step was explained in great detail. Like I said above, there will always be someone who is not satisfied. It is hard to build a good reputation when 1 person can say something bad and change the way everyone else feels about the company. Vishnu has done a great job with everything to date and I just hope they keep coming out with products like this to entertain enthusiast like myself. |

Ok, I didn't start this thread to be negative, bash on Shiv's product or to have people bash on it either. I also didn't start this thread to have people praise his product; to each their own opinion. I don't own the Procede and don't plan to own it until most of these problems have been resolved. My main concern for starting this thread is that I read all the problems that I stated in my original post and don't understand how a company gets away with it. Every electronic product will always have a problem, that’s understandable.
I’m pretty sure Shiv is a nice guy and a good businessman as well, and I would consider doing business with him in the future, but for now I just can’t see that happening because of the issues I stated in my OP (new V2 with PROcede installation/removing video, over-charging overnight shipping charges, etc.). I do think that Shiv is on the right path on integrating the V2 into the PROcede system. Coming in as a new customer, I don’t feel one should buy an old product just to be updated with another add-on piece. Other decisions like lowering the price or including a warranty for your vehicle are all his choices as a businessman. |

Theres a very easy solution. Buy the Dinan flash , something with similar gains, no technical support nightmares and a warranty that matches your factory warranty.
Plus it wont cause your 335i to go into limp dick mode |

So take your hard earned money and go buy some thing else. We will all be a lot happier because you won't be back on here with another thread about how you couldn't follow the instruction on how to install the Procede.

Anyone bashing Shiv on this forum hasn't a CLUE as to what they're talking about. Shiv has been tuning F/I cars for a very long time, and has probably forgotten more than most of you know.
You guys should be happy he's working on BMWs now, as it is knowledge like his in the tuning community that really helps move the platform ahead. I've watched it happen first hand. |

I don't own the product, but there's one thing I will say about car forums, people will talk about problems, after all, discussion, usually is warranted by question or problem. Sure you'll have people post about how much they love their car, or a product, but most of the time you'll only see people post about problems, either it be a car or product. I think people are inherently negative

The solution would be to NOT release anymore 'updates' until previous releases had been completely and utterly bullet proof.
Carry on. FWIW, If I HAD a 335 I would buy a Procede, but only WHEN V2 had been out for a year. |

Oh - Heavenly Father "Shiv"...thank you for this beautiful world, thank you for the nice 335 BMW, and most of all thank you for my lovely family. I appreciate the many rich blessings bestowed upon me and my family especially giving me a good job to afford a BMW even if it is only a 3 series. Maybe one day a Lambo like you. I only have one thing to ask of you Heavenly Father "Shiv" Ship my Fucking V2! Amen.
