Touch wood mate, but might be worth hanging onto these until you've put some kms on your new turbos

Did you already try a new sensor and it didn't fix the error?

The hub is just a magnetic ring which rotates which in theory should be reliable unless its suffered physical damage.

Yep there switched the sensors around and still had the same error
Apparently Jin has seen the hub issue before... half day job worth $650

So they cleared the code, then drove out and it popped up again? Because code doesn't automatically clear when you swap a broken sensor out.

Then you might just have buy a 2nd hand rear hub. All the suspension arms will have to come out and the driveshafts need to be pressed out of the hubs.

Maybe ask DR-JEKL and see if hes still got his 335i hubs? Hes now running a complete M3 rear driveline and he was looking to offload his old ones.

Not sure tbh, I think they swapped the drivers and passenger side sensors, cleared the codes and the error popped up again. He didn't mention it requiring the driveshaft being pressed out. Thanks for the heads up Vince, its clearly something more serious then a dodgy sensor but I think Ill let Active take care of it, if there are still problems then I can take it back until they sort it out.

Yep hope you get it sorted soon! Let me know when you want to get that better Alpina flash, just flashed it on another guy's car (already had the previous Alpina flash) and hes very happy with the improvement in D.

Hey socks, the hub wouldn't be the issue AFAIK, as the abs sensor works off the magnetic strip on the wheel bearing. The rear wheel bearings can be replaced as a loose bearing (press the old one out) whereas the front bearings are replaced as a hub assembly.

FWIW F A G supply the OEM bearings and they're bloody expensive, I got a good price through our bearing distributor at work who arranged for a set from Europe to be air freighted.

Hmm... Very tempting, considering I was quoted over $5k for new turbos + install at a local Indy in WA.

And my current turbos have being rattling like a bitch for over a year now and I believe they are leaking a bit at the seals too...

If these don't get sold by Christmas, I'll grab them.

No money right now after just getting my water pump + thermostat done and ordering new tyres.
