Rocky Mountain Tint

There seems to be one in Fremont.

Is this the same as the Livermore one? I dont really feel like driving to Livermore if the Fremont one is good as well.

They usually get it done in about 3 hours if you bring it in early in the morning. I'd call to make an appointment. $399 for all the windows minus the windshield in my e90.

it's looks darker in certain parts of the day. Especially on a cloudy day the tint is darker than on a bright sunny day.

Here are a few of mine that i had done at Rocky Mountain.

And yes we both have 35%

yeah you can see through 35%, especially on a sunny day.
You can even see through 20% on a sunny day unless it's either gloomy outside or if you look at it from the side. If you want total privacy you should go with 5% (or 15% which will help quite a bit).

BTW CA Auto Tint doesnt carry ceramic tint. Eh well. I've heard some good things about Omega Tint Werks in Pleasanton. I think you can get the entire car tinted for about $225.

Yea FormulaOne Pinnacle series comes in 50, 35 and 15. I was going to get 15, but i rather have not have to worry too much about the police. I really like the 35%. It looks classy and it's not overwhelming to the car.

My rule of thumb is a darker tint on lighter cars and lighter tint on darker cars.

Oh i should also say that the Pinnacle tint isn't very reflective when looking at it from the outside. It's more of a matte finish which i really like too.

Anyways, good luck guys!

+1 on Rocky Mountain Livermore. Had my 98 540 done there a few years ago, and Matt (owner) provided great service and a top notch job.

On sunny days with light interior (beige), the tint appears light. Here's a pic on an overast day. It appears much darker

what's the state law on tinting the windows? from what I heard is 50% max on front side windows, no tint at all on the windshield, no limit on the others... please correct me if i am wrong....
