First one did not have any mufflers which is why you had a really bad drone ... This one is completely different since you have a muffler and a resonator

What I wanna know is how much work/time would be required to get it on an xi, might be worth the expense

Just weld it on or purchase our mid pipe and it slips right over our piping. The only reason it wont fit some xi's is do to the piping diameter being larger than non xi's/

Does the new mid-pipe work with Gen 1 exhaust? Any change in sound?

I've read people here repeatedly call the AA exhaust a "glorified muffler delete." Do people say the same thing about the Remus exhaust system? What about the RE IKON? If not, how are those systems different?

I apologize in advance for my ignorance; I don't know this stuff very well, but I'm in the market for an exhaust system upgrade for my E90 328i and I'm strongly considering the above three.

Iíve had my AA gen 2 axel back for almost 2 years now. I must say it sounds great, and has gotten better over time. I am running a custom mid pipe with a smaller resonator and a secondary cat delete. I have been super happy with this set up!

Taking it to the next level, and just picked up some AA headers that are ceramic coated. Install and retune should be done by end of April. I will post the results.

Hi,
Active Autowerke released 2 versions of the exhaust

Version 1 is a muffler delete with a resonator (thats the version you mentioned in your post)

Version 2 is a an exhaust system with high flow mufflers.

Version 1 was discontinued by Active Autowerke.

REMUS system is not a muffler delete
