Ceramic Tints

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone would be interested in getting their E92 tinted for a potential group buy? I've called John at Autolinks (Off of recommendations from from a previous thread) and he quoted me $350+hst for the ceramic tint. The group buy would need 3 individuals for 10% off, however, if this is popular, im sure we could potentially get it for a cheaper price.

Im located in Mississauga. Not in a rush, but by the end of this Month would be nice.

Tint is called "Formula One Pinnacle Window Tint" by Llumar. Link attached below:

Huge +1 for Auto-Liinks. He's tinted and/or applied PPF on a dozen cars for my household over the years. Awesome work and great prices.

Check out GTA Film Supply co in mississauga. They did my ceramic tints last year for 300

I would be in to get my car re-tinted by John. I actually gave him a call last week to inquire about pricing for the Formula One Pinnacle Tint. Had my parents cars tinted @ AutoLinks and can definitely say their work is nothing short of perfection!

Did he say the third car had to be an E92? My friend is looking to get her Civic tinted as well.

On the E92's the rear window has a thick dot matrix near the roof line.

Can this John guy handle the dot matrix? I see many E92's with tints and the dot matrix area is usually greyish due to tint not adhering properly.

When i mentioned that i had an E92, John himself brought up the fact that the dot matrix is tricky but that they have a process that results in the tint adhering well.

ill give him another call and let him know how many people we have, who knows, maybe we'll even get a better discount with 5 cars!

Also, he didn't say 3 E92s explicitly, he just mentioned 3 people in total.

2011 335IS, will confirm the civic.

Mine's a 2014 328 touring, so it'll probably be a bit pricier with extra panels.

Civic is more than likely confirmed although she won't be going with the ceramic tint. She will be going dyed. Hoping to get this done ASAP, how do we get started??

GTA Film Supply co (as recommended from RameshB above in the thread) has quoted us $675 cash ($225/person) for the 3 cars for ceramic tints (this price is representative of the 10% group discount). Ceramic Tint is Suntek CIR. I asked if they installed tints on e92s before as the rear window has a thick dotted matrix which can cause problems. I was told they have installed tints on many e90/e92s. Lifetime warranty on any peeling, bubbling or fading.
- @gtafilmsupply is their instagram. I was skeptical until I saw their photos for the e92 they tinted. (Posted May3rd 2017) rear window looked great. GTA Film Supply answer to how we can book our appts. "As long as the group rate is prepaid in full, we can book according to each person's availability"

Thanks for the research Phoenix! Personally i would opt to go with John & AutoLinks, have seen their work personally and is nothing short of perfection. Also the Formula One Pinnacle series is supposed to be the best ceramic tint on the market (according to my research).

I have previous experience with Autolinks and know that they do good work. Having said that I don’t have much of a preference.

Called John and here are the logistics.
Normally, Sedans are $400 - He will do $350
Coupes - $315 (10% included)
Honda Sedan $250 ($50 cheaper for coupe)
2-3 hours for the job.
warranty - lifetime
Call to book the appointment - and mention that you are booking under 'Gavin's group discount'

Check his website for dates that you can book and then call.

Yes/no? Im in for either, but John looks like the more popular option to me.
