UUC Evo3 problem

Finally got the Evo3 installed over the weekend. Install is fairly simple however if I ever sell the car the SSK would be included. My problem is that the shifter seems to move or rotate a lil bit when I shift gears. This becomes rather annoying and am waiting on a response from UUC to see if this is normal, which I dont think it is. Anyone experience the same problem?

I have the EVO3 on my E46 and they fit flawlessly. BTW, do you have the DSSR as well?

Dont think they make a DSSR for the e92. The fit is flawless just the movement, I asume your EVO3 didnt have that type of movement on your E46?

Contacted UUC and they sent me some rubber bushings. The knob no longer twists during shifts but you can still move it with some effort. Overall Im now satisfied with the product.

I had the UUC ssk installed on my E93 about a month ago. It is rock solid and I love it. If you are having rotation problems etc it is probably your install. I would break it down and start from scratch. If you have questions during the install call UUC. They have always been very accomodating to me.

It has nothing to do with installation since I did break it down, half way at least. Only the adjustable height part of the shifter rotates, nothing underneath that. Anyways its fixed now

I just installed this shifter in my 135i on Saturday. I noticed Sunday that it would rotate side to side, then figured out that it was moving up and down. So today I took apart the interior pieces to tighten the height adjuster hoping it would fix the rotation problem. Well, it didn't. I have sent Rob and email to see what the problem may be. I never had this problem in my old M3 that I put the shifter in. Have any of you figured it out.....it is not a faulty install as it is only the height adjustment piece that rotates, the bottom section is solid as a rock.

I don't have this issue with the Evo3 in my 335 or the one in my Z4M. I did have some questions come up during my Z4M installation that Rob at UUC answered quickly via one of the forums PM systems, within an hour.
