coo, I'm good friends with James (red 240sx) & Turbo Dave if you know those guys. I don't personally know Mayo but James was telling me about the Dyno day and I think some of my friends were talking about how good your car looked with the M6 reps today.

Volks can you help me>?

Alright well I got my AFE intake working and not throwing a code after about
5 minutes of having it on because they place to mount the
MAF sensor is not that great, but on to my problem.

My car runs perfectly, intake sounds good, but
one problem if Im just cruising without Cruise Control at anything
from 1500-3000rpm my car has this surging feeling, which is very just
plain weird, but at WOT everything is perfect.

1) Im not throwing a CEL
2) I have not done the ECU reset, which I'm going to do
overnight
3) Two bolts were not able to be put in because of small space, but
the place is snug tight anyways.
4) The place where the MAF goes is really crappy and the little
rubber/nylon circle that holds it does not fit the hole very good
and the screws dont really hold it down perfectly, but it is snug.

umcool-anything with that maf being loose could cause an issue. a good indication of if your intake system is good and tight is take some brake clean and with the car running shoot the intake...if the rpms raise you have an issue...

on a cool note..got to see a horsepower freaks turbo m3 at the dealer today haha...

For some reason any other BMW besides the 335i sounds just well not good
with a resonator delete. As far as I know the 335i coupe does not have
a resonator, correct me if I'm wrong volks, and the 335i sedan does and
thats why the sedan is a little quieter.
Even my full cat-back system came with an exhaust. If you drive
anything other than the 335i don't do resonator, but just do the muffler
delete otherwise it will be a little 2 raspy. You can also get your Secondary
Cats removed to.

I love the sounds of the vr6 mmm

i consider the 2nd cats a resonator since in reality they quiet it down a good amount...

Hey guys- its been quite a while since I've posted, but a little meeting with 911 on I-65 today re-sparked my interest. Pretty random 'meet' we had today, and your exhaust sounds awesome- which leads me to my next topic.

MONAX- I, myself have been looking into muffler delete. I did a ton of research on it about a month ago, and finally ordered my tips from a random website. They shafted me on shipping and never communicated with me, so I filed a paypal claim after about 3 weeks of not hearing back. They refunded all my money, and two weeks later I received my tips. Weird. So yeah, I've been looking into it, but haven't gotten quotes yet. I know there's a ton of shops in Murfreesboro that I was going to look at- especially the 'mom & pop' types of places. Less commercialized so the integrity should still be there. I will be looking into it sometime in the upcoming weeks.

I'm taking the MCAT on friday- which is why I've been MIA from the forum. Stress level is beyond max right now, but this weekend I'll be back with a massive load off my shoulders. Until then...

Shots turned out great, 911.

Alpine, good luck on the MCAT. I took plenty of those practice exams and looked at lots of prep material, only to decide not to take it for real, but I know the stress you have been under.

Anyone going to the BMWCCA meet on Thursday?

Wow shots look great. Thanks for doing that by the way. I wasn't ready for your friend to hang out the window like that! Oh, and thanks for the heads up with all that crap in the road. That would've sucked...

Thanks for the encouragement jaded/TN. I've been studying/taking practice exams since January, yet I'm still freaking. I took one yesterday morning, and am about to start one again before work. If only it were as easy as remembering f=ma!!

Here are some pics of my 6000k D1S bulbs. I couldn't find my tripod so I had to make these work. I think it was worth 100$

My friend's family owns Checkered Flag in Virginia so I just called him up and ordered it. I'll go out to Virginia Beach when it comes in and hang out then drive it back when it is ready.

Well I took the MCAT this morning and I'm basically braindead. At this point, I'm just glad its over. I've got a month to worry about the score, but I'm just going to enjoy my summer now, and feed the mod bug!
