Which front brake brand to use?

I'm on fcp euro and I need to do my front brakes soon on my 08 335i cv, wondering if I should go with Bosch, aki, or own

And for the wear sensor oem or bowa?

Akebono Pads, & Bowa sensors. I like Zimmerman Cross Drilled Rotors; they are only about $35.00-40.00 more for a set of 2. You can get them at ECS, Pelican, or FCP Euro.

Cheapest Place to get the Akebono pads is Amazon. However, you get a lifetime warranty on all parts if you order them thru FCP Euro. They price match most of their major competitors

No, but once they are worn out, you send them back and get a "free" replacement. Basically, if you buy all the components from them 1x, you'll never pay for another brake job on that car again.

I went the cheap route and just bought a pair of front bosch quite pads and rotors and the brake sensor from FCP Euro. Was pretty cheap. First time I'm bought from them typically get my stuff from ECS. Will see if I have any fitment or other issues.

I know this might sound too good to be true, was a little skeptical at first as well buying this for a BMW, but so far I could vouch for those fully. Had this on my previous car for over two years, and replaced this last year, 12,000 miles ago on my current BMW. The rotors don't rust, and the brakes grab really nicely, no squeak, and a big upgrade concerning brake dust when comparing to OEM pads.

I had the Bosch pads before. It's alright, great initial bite. I have Brembo pads now. Going to try Akebono Pads in the future.
Before you purchase the pads you might want to do some research and see how it will be with the rotors you have. I find that overall, OEM rotor and pad combo is a pretty good set up. Also depends on your driving style and where you are driving and the weather condition. Lots to consider.
