hey, i can't install my license plate LED!!

hey guys.

i bought license plate led bulb from ebay couple days ago..

and then, i brought it to my bodyshop. someone took off the trunk lid cover and pull out the housing then installed it.

but then, one of my bulbs didnt work, so today i got the new one.

i was trying to install it by myself, but i couldnt do it...

i dont know whats wrong with mine.

i got flat head screw driver and did it myself after reading DIY post ..

OEM license plate didnt pop up.....

what should i do...?

dont start hating me. but when i changed leds it was really easy.

just open the trunk and remove the cover on the back. then use plastic, like a credit card. you dont wanna scratch anything. then try to get your hand inside with the credit card behind the housing and press it out. press the metal part. you should understans when u see it. it took me 5-10 mins to change them

it doesnt pop right out..u have to put a flat head in then press the housing to the right..so press in then push right. It slides to the right then it pulls out. I had my dealership do it for free. I watched them do it becuz I struggled myself.

dont forget to make sure the led is going the right way

+1 Push then pull down. No need to take off the carpet inside the trunk. Piggelin you did way too much work.

take a lil bit more force to right and pull it down, it will pop out .. goodluck
