Never heard of them sounds like something you would
find in some Hi Falutin magazine like absolute sound.
People here are lately are upset when they have to spend
300 bucks on a 4 channel amp.

Diamond audio speakers use to be mentioned here once awhile.

Better off to by a Morel speaker component set for that price and make sure
you have and adequate DSP/amp to drive then.

I doubt many will have thoughts other than that's ridiculous.

A guy did a complete conversion in Japan to the bowers and Wilkins system he documented it extremely well. Considering a pair of diamond dome tweeters will easily set you back almost $3000 this seems like a bargain for a drop in product!

Yeah but if you're not backing it with a nautilus system and detached suspended housing, you're really wasting the tech. You could go to cheaper speakers and get a similar effect at that point. Cabinet solutions are a bigger part of why B&W and Wilson Audio sound the way they do. Both of them generally still use other peoples' speakers in their production.

Anyway, I'd say waste your money on car audio Utopias before you try to retro a true audiophile speaker into a car without the proper dampening and housings.

Totally worth it, and will give you 50% extra horsepower to boot!

Well these are pure diamond dome tweeters with the natulis enclosures designed for Bmw. I bet it's bad ass and it's drop in. On that note you can get the aluminum versions without natulis for around $130

Mics or mids? If it's mids then you can use any good ones and they are about $147 each for the bowers and Wilkins ones

You were correct, "mids."

I'm done with my Focal setup, but I'm curious where you sourced the actual B&W mids (not the paper crap). Always loved the sound of their original lineups (not sure about the new 6/7/8 series as I think something was lost)
