As a relatively new 330i owner too I couldn't agree more. In my opinion the 330d seems to be the more complete package but it just doesn't have the kind of soul and passion that the petrol 6 does

Seems incredible now that I was ever considering a 330d instead. The 330i is sensational, particularly in DS mode.
Done around 200 miles so far, averaged 30 mpg. Getting up early again tomorrow for a blast around before work... |

Congrats welcome to the club, albeit yours will be more reliable than my N53...!! I do miss a manaul but the autobox give a good real world blend of ease of use and the additon of paddles.

Paddles are for rowing boats - best place for them. |

Enjoying the engine noise. Have only played 1 song on the hi-fi so far. Got the paddles on my steering wheel. Not tried them yet. Loving the DS mode. |

Under the runway tunnels, turn right towards Mobberley, severn sisters lane (avoiding Knutsford town) then onto the old A50 down to Holmes chapel / Church Lawton etc and on to Stoke. Just as quick as the M6 / A556 - but loads more fun!! |

And that sounds like a stonking route - I'm always on the lookout for more interesting ways to get to places

I work in Knutsford, some great drives around there. Any reason my Fluckr images won't embed? (See above.) |

I'm working in Stone at the mo, (just said stoke in general), but even from J15 of the M6 there's a good run out towards Eccleshall past Mill Meece and then even better onto Newport from Eccleshall - great roads.
