The fit is horrendous.
I bought one & offered it up - it was bad. I sold it to someone who was prepared to put the effort in & make it fit! |

I'm not even 100% sure if there are any 3D Design ones, I think they stopped production of them a while ago.
Custom would be the way to go IMO for a different spoiler. Anyway, as mentioned I got my 'actual' wheels back on today, finally. Also priced up what I think I need to complete the LCI conversion on the front, not cheap from BMW but I want to do it properly... |

A bit of F31 love
Had an EBII F31 320d which was nice but those stone chips were a mare. Moved onto my current 330d which is

I’m also starting to like the F31 and now the E91 is above the 70k mileage mark I?m thinking a change up to a 330i or 335i is due plus the niggle for the extra grunt is calling to me

Thought I recognised that Sport bumper. Prefer it to the M bumper actually. I've had 2 E39 535 and 540 and I still think they're the best cars in the world and the best looking. Shame never pulled the gun on an M5 and probably never will now

Met a few other touring owners at the weekend, will put some photos up soon, but for now I got my private plate on
It was cheap and mainly to hide the age as I LCI it, obviously it's car specific but since you can have E91 I thought why not! |

Yeah looks nice that, good idea!
Im looking into airlift for my 91.....Also to serve me a purpose as well. I had my E91 to do several things for, dog car, tip run car, towing my track car, and have something that wasnt going to bore me to death by being slow, ended up with my remapped 325d......its as quick as my e46 m3 was. Upon towing with my 91 it ended up squating way way to much for my liking and it isn't overweight. And as I was looking at air suspension anyway I thought it might be a good idea as if it squats you just whack some more air in the rear bags and off you go? Where did you get you're kit from, as it seems its extortionate prices around at the moment. And I'm assuming you fitted the kit, if so how hard was it? Cheers Drew |

This problem is due to the fact of how low it goes at the rear, and how long the spring needs to be in effect, they already have a spacer on the bag, but it could do with being longer for more real world use IMO, to sacrifice some lowness when aired out. I got my kit second hand, with a few changes etc, it's getting close to £2500 now, I've heard Car Audio Security will be doing a good sale for Black Friday, and it's what I'd recommend doing, should be able to get the full brand new kit for less than £3000. It's easy enough to fit, none of it is rocket science, it just takes a little time, working the best place to run lines, air tight fittings etc. I'd also recommend the 3H kit over 3P, for towing and general use, as it works out what height you want the car not what pressure you want the bags, I'll be doing the upgrade when I have time, It does complicate the install as you need to install sensors however. |
