FS: SuperSport Coilovers (E9x)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
For sale are my SuperSport Coilovers previously fitted to my E92 335i. Driven approximately 10,000 miles or so with three track days on them. Below is a review I wrote a few years back regarding the system as it isn't as popular here in the States.

Here are some of the important details:
  • Fast and individual lowering adjustability
  • New coating for better response and long Life
  • New damping technology for better durability
  • Made in Germany

Review: Let's keep this short shall we.

VEHICLE & CONDITIONS

So, we tested this set out on my personal E92 (2013 335i). I've driven just over 10,000 miles. Driven a ton of canyons, hit the track, and have cruised through LA pothole ridden streets for just about a year.

BIGGEST IMPROVEMENT

As with many systems, is the reduced body roll. Noticeable on both the street and the track, the e92 pedestrian suspension issue of feeling lofty then stiff is gone.

Example: Change of direction in transferring weight from side to side is no longer scary. Biggest gripe with the E92 I had (now resolved) was the run flat tires which are skiddish and the body roll.

RIDE QUALITY

Ride is compliant, a bit stiffer but still comfortable. (Short and Sweet)

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

Height adjustment has a huge range. Evidenced by the amount of thread left in the photo below, I would go lower. No need to in my opinion as the car sits perfect for me.

PRICE

$600 obo. Best way to reach me is by cell (626) 765-4013 or email Brian@supremepower.com

CONCLUSION

The system is great! Having only ridden on H&R Springs prior to this setup, the difference is night and day. Not just a drop, but better body control, a compliant yet stiff ride, and at a very competitive price.

Perfect for track duty and daily driving. Big fan.

I guess all coilovers look like every other coil over then. These are produced by KW overseas. Sort of like an ST for European Market.

They are great on road. Similar to stock.

What if a rebuild becomes necessary? Are they rebuildable? Who can do the work? At what cost?

They have the same miles. I turned the car in and the coil overs were packed away in a storage facility and forgotten about until I cleaned out the storage.

What's going on Brian! Would you take $450? Kinda random but one of my friends knows you lol! I've seen Supreme Power locally.
