Factory Equipped Tires 2011 M-Sport
Does anyone remember what the factory equipment summer tires were for a 2011 M-Sport? Michelin Pilot Sport PS2? Run Flats standard?
I'm just curious as my car had 2 year old Pilot Super Sports on it when I bought it with 57k Miles. I'll be going with AS3 Plus or PS4S. |

My wife's 2011 328i M-sport came with m194 wheels and I think it also had the Bridgestone tires.

Michelin Pilot PS2 ZP runflats were the other option (to Potenza RE050A). IMO, the Michelins are a bit better. My son put AS/3 on his '07 335i and liked them.
You can ask tirerack to select only OEM tires. |

I know this is an older thread, but I wanted to chime in on the tire selection. I had an 07 E90 with the Bridgestone runflats and now have an 08 with the Michelin runflats. Spend the extra money on the Michelins if you are staying with runflats.
The bridgestones ride like absolute rocks, every crack and expansion joint in the road is felt and seriously heard. The tires were so damn stiff, I gave up on runflats. Then I drove the 08 with the Michelins and they are pillowy soft in comparison. They still have the bubbled sidewall issue if you hit a bad pothole or have a hard impact, but the ride is way way more compliant. Tire rack carries the Michelin PS2 ZP in factory sizes, 225/40 front and 255/35 rear. |
