Upgrading to a bigger meth pump and nozzle?

Hello,

I have purchased a 250 psi Labonte meth pump and a M10 nozzle that are sitting in my basement.

Should I install them with my stock turbos? I wanted to install them after upgrading my turbos.

And if yes, what would be the power gains?

Thanks

Sure y not.

30-60WHP depending on the tune using and if its optimized for methanol injection.

30-60 whp??? Just upgrading the M7 nozzle and the 150 psi pump? Wow, I should install them on Saturday.

My car is fully catless with FMIC, BOV, CAI, OC and 16-4 maps.

Injection mode is now set to 10 (and hazard lights don't go off lol). Should I change that value? and what is the meth flow % that I should expect to see when datalogging?

I purchased them 2-3 months ago. I've just contacted them through their website contact page and they responded to me the very next day. If you want, I will search my emails for further contact info

No you misunderstood me. I was merely mentioning how much power a methanol setup can add to a car without meth.

You never mentioned you had meth in your original post

The gains from changing your setup would depend on your meth mixture currently, as well as your ignition and boost currently.

The pump alone will have better atomization regardless and flow more meth. Allowing you to maybe run more boost and maybe pick up more ignition.

Oops, I forgot to mention that

My car made 456 bhp on a dynomet with power dropping after 5000 rpm using 70-30 meth mix @ 19.2 psi : http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...&postcount=115

Now, I've set map 2 at 18.2 psi, IC = 0 and I get an average of 10.5 degrees ignition correction at 5800-6200 rpm using 50-50 meth mix.

How could I achieve more ignition advance? Could that 250 psi pump and M10 nozzle help?

p.s. Jeff,

p.s. Jeff,
Not much left in her at that point. Would need to advance ignition through the new PROcede user software. I dont even recall if that is even an option but it would require a professional tuner more then likely.

However there are still benefits of going with the bigger pump and that is better atomization.
