great thread, i'm only on the 3rd page but i feel like i need to thank everyone for contributing..i'm gonna take my time reading about how awesome my car is!

btw i drive a 330i and i've got 19k miles and counting(going)......

I just bought my '06 330xi CPO last month. 19.5k miles on her, purchased new in Dec 2005. Already put 2500mi on it, by far the nicest car I've ever owned...

Ordered my 330 May 06 with:
Black Sapphire Metallic
Sport Package
Premium Package
Active Steering
Burl Walnut Wood Trim
Manual Transmission
and received it June 06. I've put 19,000 kms (11,800 miles) on the car and truly enjoy driving the car every day. I haven't had any real problems with the car, but I do find the metallic ticking (until engine warms up) of the N52B30 engine annoying. I have a PUMA case submitted with BMW and supposedly they're to replace the engine with a modified cylinder head. But I have always considered this a rare and more fuel friendly model than the 335.

I bought my CPO 330i in November of 08. She had 37,300 miles. I have added about 2k miles since then. The ride is amazing and feels very solid. I have not had a chance to take pictures of her due to my work deadlines. I did a small photo shoot and it was nothing spectacular. I'll be taking some betters pictures soon. Time to bust out the DSLR and find a cool location.

The only thing I have done is tint windows and upgraded fog lights.
Future mods will be:

- BMW Performance exhaust
- AFE or Injen Intake
- Non RFT performance tires with donut spare
- Ipod adapter
- Angel eyes upgrade
- Rear spoiler

Here are a few pics. I love my 330!

Mods are:

Lighted sunglass holder, blacklines, M-tech carbon fiber rear spoiler (painted), Morr VS8's (19's) staggered, M3 tri-stitched steering wheel

Only thing left to do are some oem splitters, carbon mirror covers (not sure yet) and pillars.

Now I'm curious to if any of you 330i drivers have had issues with playing MP3 CD's. Mine 330i is a pre sept 05 build and I am suppose to have some kind of update for it to work. I tried all the recommended mp3 cd methods. I have been told by my local dealer that it has the update. To this day I cannot get it to work.

No problems, it should work perfectly. Try a disk that's known to work in other cars, and if it doesn't work on yours, insist on the update. Talk to a manager. If you can't search in nav by name of POI, then you have fairly software.

My car just turned 3 years old! I purchased it in March 2006.

I've probably not used it enough, as it only has 25,000 miles. It's still brand new!!

Has anybody bought the extended warranty? How much is it?

I bought my 330i CPO in November of 08. It's my first BMW and an amazing machine. I take the long routes instead of short cuts..hehe! I did get the extended warranty when I bought it. It was $2200 for up to 100,000/ 72 months, which ever comes first. The car had 37.5k miles when I bought it and now I have 41k miles. They have different levels of extended warranties. I ended up getting the cheapest. The other ones have tire protection. I have AAA and a cell phone so I didn't need it.

beautiful cars guys. I am currently looking for a 330. Would you guys say the 330 is the best value of the bunch in recent years since most people want the 335. I think long term the 330 would be less problematic also with the proven inline 6.

The N52 was a very new engine in '06, but it's still a lot less complicated than the N54.

absolutly love this car, bought it about 6 months ago. I was extremely lucky and found it with 19k miles fully loaded, 6 MT, Sport package, Premium package,1 new rim, 4 new tires, 4 new breaks, and the previous owner was a young woman, ( scratches on the shifter helped give that one away, but I was also told by the dealer haha)
- next car hopefully = M3
