Did you guys get a chance to look at the stock N20 intercooler yet? I wonder what that's like size-wise compared to the N55 one.

Yes we did. We have removed and measured the stock cooler. We have a design in Solidworks and will be making a few prototypes for testing. The stock cooler is similar in core depth to the N55 cooler, but has slightly more frontal area. We have some pretty slick improvements in the pipeline. This time we won't release drawings before bringing the cooler to market--we've learned our lesson on that one. As always we will post release datalogs and dynos as we develop.

We strapped the F30 on the dyno today and did before and after runs for Burger Tuning's beta JB tuner for the N20 motor. The next step is to drive the car on the tuner and check for DTCs. For a first map the gains were solid: Apologies for the iPhone pic, but we shut the shop down early due to excessive heat.

Tomorrow night a few Fangios and Schumachers are heading to Speed Raceway (http://www.facebook.com/speedraceway) for some hot laps in their brand new karts. We'll be there around 7:30. If you're in the area, c'mon down, or better yet, stop off at the shop after work and caravan down there with us.
