Eisenmann Exhaust

Does anyone know if race version or sport version sound more closer to the 335i stock exhaust? I like the sound level of the 335 exhaust so I don't want something too loud. Does Remus exhaust sound any like 335i? Thankss

The Eisenmann sport will be the closest sound to the factory system. It is designed to be a subtle upgrade over the factory setup. The race version is an aggressive straight through design.

The Remus system is also a good choice. The advantage to Remus is that they sound test all of their systems to ensure there is no resonation in the cabin. The exhaust is also designed to give the car more grunt but not be too obnoxious for daily use.

Both are top notch manufacturers so you are going in the right direction.

+1

The racing one is much louder then the sport exhaust. I would go with the sports exhaust if I were you.

on the 328i, we personally like the RACE and don't find them (rear Axle back system) too loud at all.

for some reason, the sport is way to close to stock and doesn't seem to provide that extra oomph. the RACE is the way to go on the 328i.

this system is totally different to the Eisenmann RACE on the 335i, which tends to have a little bit of drone and vibration within the cabin at certain RPMS.

Feel free to contact us for more information!

I'm putting a Remus on. Ostensably it is a similar volume to OEM, just a much deeper sound (not like that hissy OEM muffler). It is a straight through design, so the back pressure is reduced by 61% for our cars.

Isn't a reduced back pressure a bad thing?

I have the AC Schitzer muffler (made by remus). It is a tiny bit louder (not at all loud like bmw performance exhaust), but the best part is that it has a beefier
noise. I drive my car daily and do about 10 000k per month so remus was perfect for me in the sense that it gave my car a deeper sound when applying the throttle but at the same time not being too loud to disturb everyone around me and have cops constantly pull me over and probe my exhaust with their police batton.

I would still go sport.

For me, OEM performance exhaust was about the same price, and it came with a y-pipe, so it was a no brainer.

So are you saying that you have gotten into problems where police wanted to check your exhaust for being too loud?

No, I am saying that I am thankful that my exhaust does NOT get me into problems unlike my friends with their louder exhausts.
