Tossing the 335i on a dyno

So I took my car to a dyno this weekend (for a charity event) and we got it on and got 1 pull before the car basically refused to turn off DCT & I-drive tossed up ABS malfunction and seat belt error.

I looked up online how to get the car into manual mode (the car has paddle shifters) and that wasn't too complicated to do.

Any suggestions? I would like a base run before I start modding.

What do you mean 'refused to turn off DTC'?

You're suppose to turn all that off prior to the pull.....and ya, when in the dyno, there will be lights and such, that's normal

yea, car throws a lot of errors on the dash until you drive it around a bit.

No sure how the auto works, my manual goes in and out of each gear when i want it.

Yeah we turned DCT off (during the 1st pull) shut the car off to let it cool

Started it back up and the tech was going back through the steps (the errors in I-drive came up) I wasn't worried about them, but he wasn't sure if the DCT was engaged and didn't want to do another run.

these errors come up because the cars front wheels are stationary and the rear wheels get up to very high speeds when the car is on the dyno.

this is very weird to the stability control system, so it deactivates since it cannot properly operate with speed differences that seem impossible.

drive around for a bit and the system will reset itself back to normal.

I did that (I just don't want to have to unstrap it drive then restrap it ) to get more pulls in, plus that day was a little busy for the shop.

Now, to get the graph to come out looking "normal" it was choppy I did get good numbers for the weather conditions and issues

Weird my car didn't throw any warning lights when
I was on the dyno this weekend. Held the DTC button down for a few seconds until the dash light lit up and that was it. My car is a 6mt.

Before doing anything you need to turn both DTC and DSC off by holding the DTC button for 5 seconds. Then all the electro-nannies are off and you are good to go. Otherwise your dash will light up like a Christmas tree with all sorts of errors.

Your suppose to hold the DCT button down for like 5-10 sec. Pressing it does not disable completed the DCT.

The DCT button has a two stage mutifuntion

Yup, ABS code is normal. Don't remember if the DTC came up but as the post above states, you might have just blip'd it instead of holding it down for 5 or so seconds.
