I've been using the stock rotors with Hawk HPS pads, very good stopping power, no fade, some dust but much better brake feel.

My current track set up is Zimmerman rotors + PFC 08 pads + ATE Super Blue fluid and full braided brake lines.

For the street, I use another set of OEM rotors with OEM pads.

Hit me up since we are in Chicago. I live in Uptown near Montrose Harbor.

Joliet, Gingerman, and a few others, My track rotors are solid. They have been great so far, but I will need to replace them with two piece ones for better cooling. On couple of occasions, I've reached a point where the stick-on wheel weights will melt off the wheels which means, there is too much heat being dumped into the wheels.

There are a lot of guys with E9x in Chicagoland. I meet with some of them on ChitownM.com forum. The vast majority of members of the local BMW CCA chapter are from eastern europe. Check out windycitybmw.com

Be careful with the Chicagoland chat threads on here and the other forums! You've been warned.

About to install StopTech Drilled Cryo rotors and Hawk HPS pads. I'll let you know how they are.
