help! something just went boom!

ok first off hey! im new here just got my 335i 2010 m package last month.

ok so just now while driving i got on it a little bit ..slammed 2nd ..and heard a thump.. put the clutch in and once its in the car jolts..like it feels like when you get side ways just a little bit and when you let off, tires grip and you get that quick jolt back to straigh. so i turn traction control back on making sure its not that and still ..every gear..when the clutch goes in ..the car kind of rocks sideways. so weird. it also feels like when i accelerate the car hugs to the drivers side. like an old chevy would lol. oh and most importantly my idrive said right after "electrical malfunction car can not be driven get to service " ..please any ideas thank you…
so sad that this has to be my first post :/

Have you looked underneath they car? Maybe you broke a rear axle half-shaft, though if you are stock that would be very unlikely.

Is it doing it with and without traction control on?

its doing it with and without the traction control and i havent looked under the car and no axle on the floor lol i have snapped an axle b4 but that was on a slammed 400 hp cobalt lol . i havent been able to look at it in the light but it does seem that the passenger wheel is pushed back a bit? could i have ripped that sway bar right out?! anytime ive seen a wheel offset like that its been a bushing or even i guess a bent control arm ..but im stock and didnt hit any bump so it had to of been something that torqued out ...

Perhaps you should heed the cars warning. Stop driving it (and possibly causing more damage/voiding any warranty) and get it to the dealer. Something is broken and continuing to drive the car could result is some very serious failure.

At this point, stop driving the car and get it towed to the dealer/indy/your house, wherever you are going to have it inspected to find out what is wrong. No reason to speculate on what it is when there is definitely damage somewhere in the rear.
