Audi RS4 B7 Avant - Another Scratch Itched!
Ive been wanting to scratch this itch for a long while now but could never really see how it would fit in - but for the next 6 months or so (maybe!) i decided that this would do just nicely - picking her up on Friday - she's exactly the spec i always wanted and ive been secretly looking on and off for a while now - Daytona Grey Pearl with the Black Optic Pack (Black Roof Rails, Grill, Window Surrounds & Oval Exhaust Tips, one owner from new, totally standard (for now!!), full Audi history, absolutely mint throughout, Recaro Bucket Seats, Flat Bottom Steering Wheel, Sports Button etc etc. Have a few mod plans afoot starting with a Milltek Non Res exhaust and want to look into dropping her slightly but not sure if i will go the full coil over route with this one yet. Will keep you posted as always as and when things develop. Not looking forward to the fuel bill at all but ive already resigned myself to it and besides i had put a deposit down on a C63 AMG Estate 2 weeks ago but chickened out (again!!) - so hopefully it won't be quite as bad as that 6.3 guzzler!! Pics below were sent to me from the originally owner. Will get some of my own up eventually. Cheers chaps. Steve

These are great cars and I thought long and hard about one before I went for a C63. Sure it will be a hoot to drive, would be good to compare notes once you've had her for a bit. You're right about mpg, seeing 16-18 !!

Bloody hell Stevie....nice car, nice colour but the name? The NAME! You go through more of them than cars! How do you do it (change the name that is)? I bet you can get that Audi to drink just as much as an AMG Oh, and for what it's worth, I don't think that is a car that needs dropping at all....looks just perfect as it is |

I presume it wasn't abandoned in the snow unlike more of our cars in the snow .
Looks nice. Strangely, I hardly ever see an RS4 these days (in any shape) but then 2 saloons have popped up near my office, I see them all the time now. Nice and meaty .

Friend of mine in RS6 manages around 8mpg thats if I recall about 150miles out of a tank.
Ok its remapped to hilt and has some serious power over stock but the mpg is schocking.

Nice, very nice. Funny enough not ten minutes ago I was watching this;
http://www.mrctuning.com/index.php Say no more. Enjoy, I still miss mine, but not the fuel economy, mine averaged 17 ish I think! Milltek a must, but with kids either go resonated or switchable non resonated

Thanks chaps! Yep, definitely not looking forward to the mpg figure but hey ho, you only live once so what the hell. And take the point about the Res and Non Res with regard the children etc - will be looking into the Non Res but with switchable valves - I'm assuming this will be switchable via the Sport Button?? Either way its probably the best compromise. Keep you posted on all mods and plans.

Yes it will work off the sport button like the standard system. You can just disconnect the vacuum pipes on the standard system, but block the pipes with a screw or it will cut power. The non res sounds awesome, but is very loud, you need the ability to quieten it!
I just love when you hit the sport button the seat tightens around you.

Very nice Steve.
I had one pull out in front of me from a junction this morning, sounded like full throttle on a moist road and no problems with traction. Sounded nice.

Mmmmmmm lovely!
I'm with palm guy on the lowering issue...but also agree with the milltek being a must. Got to laugh at you running one of these, while on the other hand saving the planet with your electric hummers....
