Also, is there a correct way to plug in these cheap bulbs? the plug fits both ways into the power connector.

I think mine are going back, unfortunately. The inner rings look fantastic, but the outer ones are completely dim, where you can barely see them on. Too bad, since everyone else seems to have had such great luck. Also, the seller is amazing to work with and very nice.

Got these in today, and installed. Here are some pictures for comparison. Excuse the crappy iPhone pictures, and dirty bumper. Didn't expect too much out of these, the outer rings are not as bright as the inner ring. Decent for the price! Will update with night time pictures.
comparing left and right side. bmwled ae. stock. |

Well, I was gonna send mine in to get replaced with a set of the new style. In the process of procrastinating the passenger side bulb died. So, I decided I'd remove them and send them out. I started on the driver's side and about 45 minutes later I got the bulb out but basically destroyed it in the process... Damn thing looks like it went through a wood chipper. The passenger side came out slightly easier but still got beat up. I replaced both sides with my old GP Thunders which now look ultra ghetto after having LED's.
Oh well, $70 lesson learned, but the bright side is I now have 2 horrible looking paperweights. I guess I'll splurge on some of the more expensive ones. I guess if I'm willing to drop $1100 on an exhaust I can afford a couple of bucks for decent lighting. |

I just don't get how you all got your outer rings to shine so bright. Mine are incredibly dim, like where they almost don't seem on in the daytime. Is it just the camera?

i have the 20w from bmwled on the passenger side and a 32w led bulb on the driver side. dont expect it to look like the pic. theyre definitely not as bright as they look, but i think the 20w is more visible than the 32w.

I don't care about daytime pics. My pre LCI outer rings suck with stock bulbs in the daytime and look awesome at night... for what they are at least. I just want these to be the same at night in a nice bright white color. Ordered an HID kit for my fogs and replacemen D1S bulbs for my low beams in 6000K. Once everything is here I will install all at once then take pics.

Those angles with stock bulbs would have looked the same, only difference is our eye can pick up the amber color easier. Id be pretty happy with those results for only $70. might get these once the gp's crap out

i noticed in reflections that the 32w bulb lights up the rings more evenly, but the overall brightness doesn't seem to match the 20w. looking at both bulbs, the stalk where the leds are mounted on are shorter on the 32w. maybe the shorter length of the stalk helps the leds to get more light into the optic tubes.

FYI - We now have our LUX 8 V4 angel eyes available. Here is a quick picture of them compared to a 20W bulb.

LUX on the other hand is top notch...i had my lux 4.0 for 4+ years until it had some issues but Mark still fixed it for me. Yea its $200 but if you do the math its $40/50 a year for me and thats cheaper than these $60 led that last a year or so.
Mark, no need to explain to ppl, your product speaks for itself
