The audio into the Logic 7 amp uses a proprietary optical network called MOST. There is no known adaptor to run aftermarket HU INTO the MOST network.

The short answer is, if you want that HU in your Logic 7 system, you can't get there from here.

The long answer is, you can bypass the Logic 7 amp and install your own amp, driving your own speakers. If you have ACCESS it will be disabled. Retaining the OE HU is important to avoid certain trouble codes, but I don't know how far you can get while keeping that optical cable plugged in. Might not be needed, might only need power/ground/CAN.

To answer your PM, your amp in the L7 system is really a Lexicon audio processor with a BMW-preprogrammed equalization curve, and an amplifier with active crossover filters and 9 channels of output:

Center (highpass or bandpass crossover)

L front (highpass)
R front

R rear (highpass)
L rear

R rear effects (high- or bandpass)
L rear effects

L and R woofers (lowpass)

There aren't any 9-channel aftermarket amps.

The amps on the aftermarket don't neccesarily have the right crossover complement, and really don't have the BMW preset EQ curve, so your Logic 7 speakers will probably not sound "right".

What you're trying to do is fit a round peg into a square hole.

You could replace the factory amp with a JBL MS8.
