On-The-Go Playlist?

Does the 6FL integration on the 2009 iDrive support the "On The Go Playlist" feature of the iPod? In case you didn't know, you can hold the center button of your iPod and it will add the currently selected song to your queue (i.e. on the go playlist). I tried holding the iDrive knob down but it just plays the song immediately.

P.S. I posted a similar thread in the iDrive forum but nobody's reading it.
