Will AUX 3,5mm cable drain my battery ?

When I leave that AUX cable connected all the time, does it drain cars battery ? I think I saw that info here a year ago but then I didnt give it much thought and now I need to know can I leave the cable connected or I must every time unplug it from the cars AUX plug when I dont listen the music trough it and turn off the car.
