335i Muffler Delete and some questions

So, I just did a muffler delete on my 335i, first day driving the ECU hadn't adjusted to the mod, so gas mileage seemed horrible, day it's wonderful, 18.8 mpg city only. Sounds great, but it's so loud it shakes something it my carso it rattles. Idk what it is, so is there anyway I could quiet it down some? I'm thinking another set of resonators? Or maybe putting some baffles on it that are open a little at at idle and smooth driving to keep the sound down but once I give it more gas it opens and is loud again?
Anyone have any ideas?

18.8 in the city seems a little lower than average city mileage but not much. I've got that much when I drive through NYC. That rattle in the rear could be vibrations from the center lid, I've read ppl have put a cardboard in it to keep some pressure against it. What other exhaust mods do you have? Catless?
