Weird noise from n54

Weird noise coming from my 2008 e92 335i, noise gets significantly weaker once car oil is fully warm but when cold it sounds terrible. https://youtu.be/7CV8LTwKw70

Sounds like one of your belt pulleys or tensioner wheel has gotten noisy. I have one that sounds similar until the engine bay warms up.
As long as your accessories belt looks ok, it's just an annoying noise. You just really don't want that belt to snap. If it looks warn I would have the belt replaced and which ever wheel is making the noise.

I know there is lots on YouTube for the belt and tensioner. Just not sure about the other pulley wheels.

Look behind your oil filter housing to see if it’s leaking. Sometimes the oil gets on the belts and causes them to start squealing like this.
