Contact Rod Sutphin of Sutphin Tuning on facebook. Buy an XHP flash license, and buy rod's tune. He's the best out tehre right now, IMO. XHP tunes are better than stock but don't hold a candle to Sutphin. I believe DWR has stopped supporting his tunes. Sutphin gives amazing customer support, and has basically perfected getting an X5d/ 335d to feel and act exactly how it should of from the factory. Smooth, no power loss between shifts, and as soon as you give it gas, ready to boost you forward. For the $250ish total you'd be into it, you'll be buying a completyely different driving experience overall.
No worries, you're not being rude. I did read the thread, but somehow missed the bit on Rod, guess I had the xHP stuff stuck in my head. See it now on reread, but appreciate that you were helpful enough to point it out, even in my ignorance.

Much appreciated
