So looking to see if anyone has input on this dilemma a new tank costs roughly 80$ +50$ for coolant/flush. I just took the car to the Track and the tank didn't explode on the track but did on the way home. The car is a DD but is also tracked (circuit/drag) on weekends. Is this common for a track car to have this tank explode or was it just coincidence. My other option is to go with the Turner Motorsport Aluminum Coolant Expansion Tank Relocation Kit but at a whopping $765 I could replace the stock coolant tank 5x over. Will probably have the car for 5-8 years still (E92 335I).

Buy new tank, top up coolant and done.

That car wont make it another 5 years anyways.
