Posting a alloy wheel

Hi guys,

I have a 20" alloy complete with tyre which I am going to put onto ebay for selling.

I want to offer postage for posting it to anywhere in the UK, and was wondering if anyone has done this before, and which companies you used for sending the alloy wheel, as I have no idea.

Any tips for what you used in terms of packaging would be great too

Thanks

Gonna Take a lot of stamps

Think courier is best, try http://www.parcel2go.com, they show the bst deals - reckon £10 will be about right for a three day service.

Paisley Freight specialise in wheels. A bit of bubble wrap on frog and rear of wheels and either some thick cardboard or thin plywood on top and tape the whole lot up or wrap in industrial cling film.

I sometimes have to send complete wheels out in the parts department where i work.

Fill the insides of the wheel with wrap/bubbles etc, few layers of Thick cardboard over the rim on both sides and then wrapped in black pallet wrap!
