Okay I'm just gonna say this isn't going to happen today since noone seems to have much interest in it besides John and I and if noone wants to come I'd rather gym and save the money. Maybe we can do something Saturday though?

Starting a quick detail side thing. Exterior only. In the experiment phase right now so prices will be cheaper. Won't be buff waxing for a while untill I find the tools I like. Will be doing temp spray wax instead. Anyone interested?

Hey all. I decided to keep two separate accounts for now. It was killing me not being able to stay in touch on any of the boards. It was dumb. If I was logged in, I couldn't see a lot of the threads/categories. Then, as soon as I log out I can then read the stuff, just not reply -__-

So here I am. Let's get together tomorrow night guys. It'll have to be a 7 o'clock time for me but it's Tuesday and I love WINGS! Plus, I still need to code John.

Well it depends what you're talking about, I guess. Pricing too. It sounds like you want to get into detailing, but can't quite "detail" yet. I'm just saying make sure to be clear what you can offer especially if you're just getting going. To me it sounds like you're talking about a very thorough cleaning with a possible clay bar and wax. In my mind, "detailing" is a very abrasive art form for re-surfacing paint. I took a weekend class on it awhile back taught by some very talented guys. One of them is still around here in town, and we actually hung out yesterday and did some polishing on my trunk. I've included pics. That guy Jeffrey that introduced himself in here awhile back is also a pro-detailer by trade.

Not hating Phil, I just don't want some people to get the wrong idea if you offer detailing and they don't get what they expect Because simply applying and removing wax with a buffer isn't going to actually repair the paint, it'll just fill in the scratches/cracks/defects until the wax wears off. The pictures I posted below from yesterday are before wax was even applied. This is just what some very heavy abrasives can do after very detailed work.

Actually I've been detailing for a while now I just now decided to expand it out. What I'm actually trying to do is get a sponsorship from black magic first but while I'm waiting for a response I'm using a temp set up. I don't want to get all of one product then get decline. So currently I'm experimenting with all sorts of different companies brands to see which offers the best products etc. I'm also looking for a better buff bad seeing which one will leave small abrasive scratches like the old terry cloth ones to prevent that happening from others cars. As prices go I don't see it going past 50 bucks once I got everything I want.

Legit! I'll be working on slowly bringing my E90 back from the dead as Spring rolls in. As you can see from the pics, the thing was a train wreck when I got it. lol

If you make it tomorrow night I'm sure we'd have lots to talk about

These things look GREAT! How disappointing that I reset his car to factory settings, so then his windows work just fine... then I re-code his car and the windows stop automatically dropping. WTF?! We were twice as stoked even because I was able to code better features this time than originally. I've done several E92s now and yours is the only one to respond this way. Lane needs to let me code his car so I can prove it's just yours having the window issue!

I'm actually don't think I'm going to attend a meet until April. Saving up for new tires along with getting my bumper cut along with exhaust installed. So 1300 is gone. I might attend the next c&c. Hearing good things about them.
