e92 19x10 et38 / 265/30/19 rear rub?

So funny story. A few months ago I acquired my VMR V710 wheels with the rear dimensions being 19x9.5 et 33 after waiting nearly 7-8 months of waiting for them to be made and shipped. I also bought a set of firestone firehawk indy500 with there dimensions being 265/30/19 for the rear. And took them to discount tire and before hand I had called asking if they would mount and balance the wheels. They said that they could do it no problem easy peasy and laughed at my concern of them messing the wheels up. So I then took my wheels that were still in their boxes and my brand new tires and gave it to them. I come back 3 hours later and I see THAT THEY CURBED ALL 4 WHEELS!!! I was furious when I found out and demanded that they order me a brand new set. anyways they are ordering them right now and the front wheels will be the same dimensions and everything but they are saying that they dont know how long it would take for the same dimension rears to make and ship but they say if i go to 19x10et38 they can have them by 2 months. so my main question after this long rant is will 19x10 et 38 wheels with 265/30/19 tires fit a pre lci e92 coupe with the msport suspension without rubbing or poking? I know its probably a stupid question with a simple answer but pardon me I hate numbers.

Wont rub at all. a 265 on a 10" wheel will be stretched. A stretched 30 series tire will be very thin. No poke either. a 19x10 et38 is actually a pretty good fit. I have the same rear wheels dimension wise with a 275/30 and with a slightly roll no issues. This was before coilovers and after. I've seen another guy on here with the exact same wheels run a 285/30 with small roll no issues.

What's your front wheel and tire combo?

Okay cool ill let them know that ill order those then. Hopefully they dont curb those too My front setup is 19/8.5 et35 with 235/30/19 its definitely a conservative setup but it fit what I was wanting at the time. My turbos are going out and giving me low boost and it puts my car into limp mode sometimes. so ill probably be getting upgraded 17ts so ill definitely need to go to maybe 275 or 285. with slight roll when does that normally affect you just like pot holes and bumps or during pulls?

Front wheel sounds great. Not aggressive but overall good fitment. I personally think 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 with 235/275 is the best good looking non aggressive wheel package. But like I said that 19x10 will be just fine and look good. You could toss a small spacer on the front if you feel like the wheel needs to come out more. Oh and a 265 on the back will be stretched a bit. People probably wont notice the difference front to back but you will.

Yeah ill just have to deal with having rubber band tires for a while. I actually have some 7mm spacers coming for the front wheels to hopefully make them a little more flush. Thank you so much for your quick replies and very helpful advice!

No problem. If you go through setting up a stance one time youll be a master at fitting wheels on these cars. My brothers car has a front 19x8.5 et33 I believe. Could be 35. Either way they fit and look great with a 235 tire. I have 9inch front and 10inch rear. The 9inch looks good but IMO too wide. In order to not have a stretched looked I have to run a 245 so my front sidewall is slightly taller than my rear. And boy with coilovers its a super tight fit on the inside and I get slight rubbing on the fender apron.

Sorry to hear about your damaged wheels!

The 19x10 ET38 is a verified fitment for the rear of E90 pre-LCI and all E92/E93. Recommended tire size would be 265/30/19, but we've seen some squeeze in a 275/30/19.

If you're not looking for drastically improved handling the Solo Werks for $600 are a good option. Similar feel to stock M-sport suspension and owned by KW. I have a review thread in the suspension section.
