e90 rear outer light issue
ok, i have viewed lots of posts and unable to figure out the issue here.
I have a 2006 320D M Sport. both inner taillights work. the N/S outer was NOT working but the O/S was. so after checking bulb, i then probed with +12 and bulb worked, I used Inpa and Tool 32 but odly no faults were showing with the light. the FRM module is FRM87 So i looked at the codes for the rear lights, and i reset them all double checked in inpa and ista still no error found. 0x11 AUSGANG_SL_BL_LINKS_1 tail light / stoplight on the left 1, E92 / E93: Day driving light on the left 0x12 AUSGANG_SL_BL_RECHTS_1 tail light / stoplight on the right 1, E92 / E93: Day driving light on the right 0x13 AUSGANG_SL_BL_LINKS_2 tail light / stoplight to the left of 2 0x14 AUSGANG_SL_BL_RECHTS_2 tail light / stoplight to the right of 2 0x19 back driving light AUSGANG_RFL_LINKS on the left 0x1A back driving light AUSGANG_RFL_RECHTS on the right I also swapped the light switch out still the same. i run out of time, and needed to use the car, so i bridged the left and right outer lights so the both worked. I then forgot to look at it again, till the other day when both outer lights stopped. again inpa ista etc sho no fault but their is NO power coming to the lights. A 12v Probe and they work perfectly. the FRM shows Green in ISTA so suggests no issue with it. I checked every fuse and they are all good. Where else should i look? i do have another FRM Module but it is out of a 2010 model. i was hoping i could work out how to swap to this, as i also took the Adaptive HID headlights. and LED rear lights. As well as all the I drive system that mine doesn't have. I still have the 2010 car, and was thinking i may need to swap looms. as i have no idea what to remove to make the idrive work. I had also put in power folding mirrors, and swapped passenger door loom, but cant get the mirrors to adjust let alone fold. any info or advice would be great |
