E91 door lock cylinder

Hi, I have a question. I have a E91 2006 prefl.
Everything about locking, unlocking works fine, from center console button to the remote key, the only problem I had was with the driver door lock cylinder where you have to put a metal key. It wasn't working with any of my two keys. I took it out by unscrewing one bolt and took it to a locks repairman and he said the lock was broken and stuck so I bought an used, but working one together with a metal key. I put it in, screwed it in with that one bolt and now it spins left, right, but doesn't do anything, doesn't lock, doesn't unlock. Feel's like something's missing, like it's not attached to something it should be so it can do it's work? Appreciate any help.

The lock cylinder has an + tip on the end of it.
The + tip goes into the door actuator.
It probably didn’t go into the door actuator.

Tried it a bit one day, gotta try more because couldn't make it to lock/unlock, the only thing I managed to do was all windows opened when I spun the key to the right.
