I need help.

I have a P02CB code.

Thought it was the red intercooler hose so replaced that and the upper hose that's attached to the throttle body as well. And replaced a leaking turbo oil line. But still not getting full power all the time and going into limp mode if I cruise at higher gears not driving the car hard.
Higher RPM feels like boost is hitting but still rolling a lot of coal most of the time.
Thinking it might be the throttle body but figured it's best to ask for a 2nd opinion before spending more money on parts.
And rolling a crazy amount of coal, especially during upshifts when pushing the car.

Replaced this turbo oil line due to it leaking, also replaced upper intercooler hose connecting to throttle body, and lower red turbo hose.

After replacing the oil line the turbo woke up and everything seemed back to normal on the drive to work. Then on the drive home it bogged down again and is rolling more coal than ever and less and less power.

P codes are useless. Recommend a better diagnostic tool.

Check your hose again (red one)...In fact you can stand outside of the vehicle, and if that hose is not on completely on, you will hear the hiss!!! Depending on how you put the band on, its hard to actually see the gap when it slips off.

I was going nutz with mine and finally bought a new band that actually gripped that rubber better...no mo slip for me...

Yeah but I still have power in the higher end with no loss in boost or power. Only below 2500 rpm

How did you know it was blown?

I am fighting the same issue as you at the moment.

OP had a boost leak and his IC was culprit. Boost leak can come from lots of places. The hose connections is always best place to start hunting though. The upper seal in the red hose seems to last about 1 year.
Best long term solution is to get away from the OE jubilee clips. I use ATM intercooler to allow the hoses and nice band clamps.
